1. KEY COLLECTION 🔑
Key collection is very simple. On the morning of your arrival, send us a Whatsapp, or SMS (NOT EMAIL!), confirming your arrival time and we will send you the entrance codes as long as you have already registered. ASIA suite use a physical key and this can be picked up in Meguiñez Restaurant located right next to the entrance door. Just tell them your name to receive the keys. Upon check out, simply leave the ASIA keys on the small table inside the flat and text us when you have done so.
As is the law in Spain, you are obliged to share with us a copy of your personal ID. This will be done via a link sent to you before of your arrival, it´s very simple to do so with your mobile phone. Remember, until you have registered we cannot send you the codes or give you the keys.
IMPORTANT!!! For ASIA Suite, the opening hours at RESTAURANTE MEGUIÑEZ located right next to the building entrance is between 12:00 to 21:30hs.

2. LUGGAGE DROP-OFF. 🧳🛍️
There is little space by the entrance of Sea to Sky Suites to unload your luggage but you can park there for a short moment on the side of the road, (put on your flashers please). Alternatively, if you have only a little bit of luggage with you, you will probably best go straight to the covered parking garage located a short 3 minute walk away... San Sebastian Street is a PEDESTRIAN STREET...you cannot drive or park on it!
3. PARKING INFO 🚗💨💨
There are two options for finding parking in Mijas. First is trying your luck on the street where parking is free. There are some loading/unloading areas for suppliers so make sure you look for any signs limiting the parking hours. The police in Mijas are VERY vigilant and will only give you a small margin of time if you have parked in a non-authorized zone...you have been warned. Sea to Sky Suites does NOT have private parking on the premise or nearby.
The second option is heading for our covered municipal parking just a 3-minute walk from our apartments and costing only 1€ for the first 9 hours and only 0.60€ for every hour thereafter. It´s cheap, covered and safe.
Sea to Sky Suites are very, very central in town, you are never more than just a few minutes walk away from the apartments.
Please note: In the summer months the main access road to Sea to Sky Suites is cut off to traffic in the evenings from 19hs. UPON ARRIVING IN MIJAS, IF YOU ARE STOPPED BY THE POLICE, MAKE THEM AWARE YOU ARE COMING TO SEA TO SKY SUITES HOTEL, THEY WILL LET YOU PASS AND NOT REQUIRE YOU TO PARK OUTSIDE OF TOWN AND TAKE THE SHUTTLE BUS. Our recommendation is to go straight to he municipal parking or try your luck on the street as you will NOT be able to approach the building after 19hs.

4. CHECK-IN TIME
Check in is from 15hs but if you arrive early you can from 12:30 noon leave your bags in the flat while it is being prepared for you, but we must be notified beforehand. For ASIA suite guests, if you are arriving to Mijas later in the evening (after 21hs) when Meguiñez may be closed, we will leave the keys in a key lockbox next to the entrance of apartment building. It is imperative you notify as soon as possible to make these arrangements.
🛗 IMPORTANT!!! YOU MUST NEVER EVER SEND YOUR BAGS UNACCOMPANIED IN THE LIFT. FAILURE TO DO SO AND SUBSEQUENT JAMMING OF THE DOORS WILL BE PAID BY GUEST WHO CAUSED THIS. When we renovated the building we installed this lift in the very small space available.
In your refrigerator you´ll find a couple of welcome beers 🍺🍺 to start your stay with us right...so SALUTE AND WELCOME!!
5. BREAKFAST☀️ 🥐
Some of you have breakfast included and are a 1 minute walk from the Muskoka Bistro. Breakfast is served from 9 to 11 a.m. We have a Spanish continental breakfast with coffee, fresh orange juice, and a bread roll 🍊🥪☕.
Our breakfasts are free and not included in the apartment price, so if you want to order anything extra, please pay at the cafeteria. Guests say Muskoka Bistro makes the best Prawn Pil Pil on the Costa del Sol, so try them for lunch!

6. CHECK-OUT 🏃🏃♀️💨 is strictly at 11am please
We need enough time to prepare the flats for our next arriving guests but you are welcome to leave your bags with us in Muskoka Bistro and explore Mijas. As mentioned before, Asia guests please leave the keys on the small table inside the flat and text us when you have done so.
If you request late a late check out, there is 10€ charge until 12 noon and 30€ charge until 15hs. We cannot always guarantee a late check out service. Payment in cash is required at Muskoka Bistro please.
IMPORTANT!! FOR ALL GUESTS, PLEASE TEXT US WHEN YOU HAVE LEFT THE FLAT. This helps us organize housekeeping.
Lastly, please remember that all our flats are strictly NON SMOKING 🚭🚭🚭. Let´s please leave the flats in as best shape as we can for our next guests 🙏🙏🙏

👚🧺👙 Due to town ordinance is forbidden to hang you laundry on any of the balconies. We understand that this is a nuisance but we must follow the rules, thanks for understanding.
7. AIRCON / HEATING INSTRUCTIONS 🥵 🥶
The system always takes a few moments to begin, just be a little patient, normally no more than 3 minutes.
1. Open the flap down
2. In RED you control the temperature, I recommend 22ºC. You can set the temperature moving the arrows in the red box up or down.
2. In YELLOW you see the fan speed. I recommend 2 bars, you can adjust the fan with the button in the yellow box.
3. The mode/heat/aircon is in GREEN. Toggle the button in green to select the snowflake for aircon ❄️ or sun ☀️ icon for heat.
4. The BLUE arrow points to the ON/OFF button. The unit always takes a few minutes to start working, be patient please.
*VERY IMPORTANT. Let´s save on energy costs, please TURN OFF the unit when leaving the flat, it will warm up or cool down very quickly when you turn the ON button again. Thank you*
8. 360º SKY DECK 🌙 ☀️ 💫
We invite you to enjoy a drink on the rooftop patio where you can enjoy 360º views of the Coast and mountainside, day and night! Our Sky-Deck is available for all our guests and especially nice for those who have booked one of our interior suites without a balcony. You may enjoy the views from 9am to midnight always keeping the intimacy of others in mind. As we slowly come out of these difficult years behind us we will be refurbishing our deck with comfy lounge sofas, plants and other decorative details. For now, come up, relax and enjoy the views...
The cushions for the chairs and sofa are inside the small table, please return them there when you have finished, this avoids them being blown about by any gusts of wind 🌬️.
There is STRICTLY NON SMOKING 🚭🚭🚭 on the SkyDeck owing to the artificial turf and gusty winds which can quickly turn into a fire hazard, we thank you for your consideration.

9. DINING IN MIJAS 😋🍴
People always ask me for my dining recommendations in town. We have many options, some great, some not so great so here are my favs…
A trip to Mijas isn´t complete in my view without a visit to THE SECRET GARDEN restaurant, literally just 20 metres up the street. Importantly, we always recommend reserving your table with extra time, it is always full.... Don´t be fooled when you peek in from the street, it doesn´t look like much, but the SECRET lies far within the walls....

My number one recommendation for awesome burgers, tapas, coffee and breakfast is at MUSKOKA. I always have my coffee there in the mornings and my gin & tonics in the afternoons, the corner is the PERFECT location to watch Mijas life. The café has a really nice mix with locals and visitors. Good service too.

My last place is probably the easiest because it’s just below as you exit the flats to the right in Meguiñez. The food is authentic, tasty Spanish cuisine on what I think is the prettiest street on the Costa del Sol. They’ve got an amazing wine selection and the service is friendly and efficient...
